The Export Award recognizes a Norwegian export company that has successfully created value in Norway through international markets. The prestigious award will be presented at the Export Conference in Oslo on 2 March 2027.

Together with Innovation Norway, we aim to showcase successful Norwegian export stories and inspire other companies to pursue international opportunities. The Export Award has previously been presented by H.M. King Haakon, Kari Traa and, in recent years, Norway’s Minister of Trade and Industry.

Which companies qualify?

  • The company must have a high share of exports.
  • The company must demonstrate value creation in Norway.
  • The company must demonstrate market growth.
  • The company must offer an innovative solution or product.

“The strongest candidates are companies that have taken Norwegian solutions to the world and achieved results in challenging international markets.”

– Tone Lunde Bakker, CEO and leader of the jury

Tomra won the 2026 Export Award

TOMRA won last year’s Export Award. The jury highlighted the company’s ability to demonstrate how Norwegian innovation can create international impact. SeaGems received the Newcomer of the Year award and was described as a role model for emerging export industries in Norway.

Newcomer of the Year

The Newcomer Award honours the export companies of the future. The award is presented to companies that, despite their short track record, have already demonstrated an ability to succeed internationally through innovation, growth and exports.
