Background

Ms. Tone Lunde Bakker is CEO of Export Finance Norway (Eksfin), the official export credit agency (ECA) of the Norwegian Government.

With NOK 195 billion (EUR 17 billion) in total exposure limits and AAA credit rating, Eksfin offers loans and guarantees supporting Norwegian export companies, international buyers and their banks.

Previously, Ms. Lunde Bakker held several executive positions in major Nordic banks, most recently as CEO at Swedbank Norway. Prior to that she worked 18 years at Danske Bank Norway where she was also the bank’s Country Manager for three years.

She is particularly interested in green financing and the opportunities it presents for Norwegian and Nordic companies. Currently, she is a member of the board at Ratos AB, member of the DNV Council and Chair of its Control Committee.
